Sanguine (adjective): “Cheerfully optimistic, hopeful, or confident.”
Also: Reddish, ruddy. From same use of “Sang” to mean “red” or “blood” like sangre (blood in Spanish) or sangria, the drink.
Apex (noun, 2nd definition): “Peak, summit, high point”
Usage: “The apex of my spring was completing the first chapter of my book, on time and below budget.”
Limerence: “The emotional state of being in love” (as said by my friend Liane).
Notes: I’d never heard this one before. The spelling makes it look like “The emotional state of smelling like a lime.”
Cascade (noun, verb): a flowing of any object in a waterfall-like design

Spurious (adjective): “False, lacking in authenticity”
Usage: “The claim that I have super powers is only spurious to those of weak imagination”
Spurious claims throughout history: The “flat earth”, the “Surgeon’s Photo” of the Loch Ness Monster, and a few things Nostradamus had to say.
Fecund (adjective): “Productive, fruitful, prolific”
Notes: A big SAT word. The focus of of a great joke in the movie “Clueless”
Luthiers (noun): “One that makes or repairs stringed intsruments”
