I’ve actually been considering adopting a similar ‘editorial calendar’ model myself, in order to force myself into more of a structured publishing schedule. I’m definitely keenly interested in seeing how the site gets reinvented, as I keep thinking along similar lines, but I suspect that people are more likely to read essays quickly than take the time to listen to audio (or video) posts. For example, I didn’t find out about your grandfather’s passing until a couple weeks later, when I finally took the time to go back and listen to your post all the way through, and by that time I felt awkward extending condolences because I didn’t want to reopen any wounds. 🙁
