Kevin’s in Da Paper!

So I wrote an Op-Ed piece appearing in the Baltimore Sun today about how the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster is Generation X’s Kennedy Assassination. I was an editorial page intern at the Sun back in 1994 which makes this doubly sweet.

    Your piece reminds me of a long but wonderful article by William Langewiesche–“Columbia’s Last Flight” published in the Atlantic Monthly in 2003. He traces the all-too-human flaws that brought down Columbia and nicked our confidence not just in NASA, but in institutions and bureaucracies.
