Etsy for Food:

Just heard about Foodzie, which is billing itself, colloquially at least, at "Etsy for Food," an online marketplace for the kinds of small culinary producers you might see at your local farmekrs market or who may own one shop or restaurant in town. Ya know, the kinds of places where you’d tell friend "When in Portland, you cannot miss The Memphis Mafia Doughnut!"

It isn’t ready for primetime yet but you can follow along on their blog if you’re tastebuds are already running in circles. No word on how the merchandise will stay fresh and tasty when shipped from say, Seattle to Savannah. Hopefullly that’s to come.

I’m calling this "The World’s Largest Farmer’s Market." And counting the minutes until it pops out of the oven.
