Bush in Freefall:
According to this news story, President Bush’s approval ratings are the lowest of his presidency, just 37% with nearly 70% of thise polled saying the country is on the wrong track. I’ll be mentioning this to Baratunde, whom is here in Austin and I had dinner with last night. He’s probably over the moon.

I just read that article, and I was quite amused. I may live in what many consider “Bush country” but I didn’t want him for our governor, and I definitely didn’t want him for our president.
I’m really going to miss you guys this weekend. If we make it over there for a day trip, I will be sure to let you know.

i AM over the moon… with anger at the people responding to these polls. their was a much more relevant poll run two years ago for these folks to register their complaints. it was called ELECTION DAY 2004! I don’t want to hear any whining! deal with Dubya and like it!
