Sometimes you just need a little geek talk. You need to hear smart people talking about “jacking in” and Bluetooth-enabled easy chairs. You don’t know why but you’re probably doing something utterly mindless and wish you otherwise engaged.

    I’ve been listening to these for months now.
    Some things worth recommending:
    Douglas Ruskoff on Renaissance Prospects
    Also, they’re interviewing some sci fi artsy-fartsys on the voices in your head .
    For entertainment value I’d recommend Will Wright’s speech and Richard Alley’s Big Weather.
