Technorati Tags:

Do you add Technorati tags to your blog posts? If so, have you found pain-free method I could steal?

  1. Kevin, if someone does chime in with a method that’s short of bamboo under the fingernails, please let me know as well.

  3. I turned my categories into tags. They’re all one word now, and on my posts, I put the category list with the rel=”tag” in the links, and Technorati picks them up every time. Let me know if you want the template tags for it (they’re probably the same for Typepad as they are for MT). I’m pretty sure it works, but hey, they might be getting the info from the feeds, not from the page.

  5. I use WordPress, and there’s a great 3rd party plugin called Jerome’s Keywords that I use to implement tags on my site. It provides a new text field on the main post form that accepts a comma-separated list of keywords. Those are used as tags on my site, and they’re set up for Technorati to use as well.
You can absolutely steal, but it means changing the system running your blog…
